After tallying the thousands of votes submitted by DaVinci Wines Facebook fans, the four 2014 DaVinci Storytellers were announced in September. The Storytellers—Jennifer, Celeste, Kristin and Karen—traveled to Vinci, Italy, estate to DaVinci Wine’s cooperative of much more compared to 200 growers, to spend a week understanding concerning the individuals and put behind DaVinci Wine and celebrating every one of points Chianti. Celeste Noche’s Experience
Watch as Storyteller Celeste Noche explores the historic kitchen in the Casale di Valle, the Storytellers’ Italian estate away from home. When a hunting lodge from the 16th century, the enchanting Casale is now the property of the DaVinci grower co-operative and sits in the heart of vineyards in Vinci.
In this blog post, Celeste describes her Storyteller experience as “a whirlwind of meeting regional artisans, understanding the ins-and-outs of Chianti and tasting much more delectable meals and consume that left me much more smitten along with this remarkable country compared to I believed possible,” and shares the above image of a pre-dinner glass of DaVinci Chianti at the Casale di Valle.
Karen Tedesco’s Experience
Here, Storyteller Karen Tedesco shares her experience making tiramisu along with DaVinci Wine’s rather own Chef Anna. Pair a glass of DaVinci Pinot Grigio along with this classic Italian dessert for the ideal end to any type of meal.
While in Vinci, Karen viewed the natural herbs growing on the Casale di Valle property, inspiring her to develop this recipe for Tuscan Brined Pork Chops along with Salsa Verde, which pairs beautifully along with DaVinci Chianti.
Jennifer Wood’s Experience
In this video, Storyteller Jennifer Wood shares why pizza making at the Casale di Valle is ideal paired along with a glass of DaVinci Pinot Grigio.
The Storytellers took a journey to the Tuscan hillside town of Montalcino, where the group at Cantine Leonardo da Vinci was challenging at job harvesting grapes. Jennifer explains exactly how they learned that the Sangiovese grapes revealed Right here would certainly be aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 3 years to be earned in to DaVinci’s Brunello di Montalcino.
